Environment emissions

Air

The air has most  environmental influence in member companies of Nexe Grupa.   Legal regulations in Croatia cover the issues of air emissions and air quality  in a  good way. Air emissions in all companies of Nexe Grupa in Croatia are regularly monitored by authorized organizations and they are all below limit values prescribed by law.

Number of sources in companies:

COMPANY EMISSIONS OF DUST PARTICLES AND GASES FURNACE EMISSIONS TOTAL SOURCES
Našicecement d.d. 55 3 58
Slavonija IGM d.o.o. 3 2 5
Dilj d.o.o. 4 0 4
Nexe beton d.o.o. 0 5 5
Bilokalnik Drvo d.o.o. 9 1 10
Našički auto centar d.o.o. 0 2 2

Group companies, excluding  Našicecement, have not installed dedusting systems as dust particles emissions are way below prescribed limit values.  There are high efficiency bag filters on  all outlets in Našicecement d.d., except on one. There is electro filter on additive dryer. Dedusting  is efficient as 91 % of outlets have emission lower than 10 mg/mN3.

Constant emission measurement is set up on outlet of dust filter of rotary kiln in Našicecement. In this way we provide constant monitoring of nitrogen oxide, sulphur dioxide  and dust particles during kiln operation and emissions of HCI, HF and TOC (total organic carbon) during use of alternative fuels.

Water

Processes  in most companies do not require water usage in production. There are two kinds of waste water:  sanitary and technological- precipitation water. Technological-precipitation water  refers to  water from rain that is collected and discharged within factory premises.  Water is affected  in companies Feravino d.o.o. and Osilovac d.o.o. only. Water quality is regularly tested by an authorized laboratory.
